EV Atlas exists for one reason: most published EV market data carries no audit trail and most analytical work in this sector is built on it anyway. We do the opposite — parse the source files ourselves, document our methodology, and stand behind every number.
Every figure we publish reconciles to a source-document hash. If we can't show you where a number came from, we don't ship the number.
We cover fewer markets than the global vendors and won't compete with them on breadth. We cover them better, with primary-source data and documented edge cases.
Used-import handling, fuel-class to powertrain mapping, sales-vs-registrations distinctions — all explicit, all versioned, all reproducible. The pipeline is deterministic over source files.
Auditors, regulators, and IPO prospectus drafters will pay for what they can verify. Buyers who don't care about provenance have other vendors to choose from.
EV Atlas is founder-led. Engagements are scoped, run, and signed off by the same person who reads the source files — not a sales team and not an analyst pool. That is the constraint, and it’s also the product. If you hire us, you get the person who knows the numbers.
We are based in Stockholm and work with clients across Europe, North America, and the Middle East. Most of our work comes through referrals; we keep the practice small on purpose.
